The Acknowledgment of Country, and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ history and custodianship of Australia, is an important start to understanding the cultural landscape in which we learn and do business.
Start your Study in the Business School with an exploration of what it means as a Non-Indigenous student to Acknowledge Country. You will have the opportunity to workshop your own Acknowledgement of Country to use throughout your degree and into your future in business.
Empower yourself with cultural competency and respect and gain confidence speaking about Australia's Indigenous history and land, as well as connect with peers and build meaningful connections.
.
The Business School is committed to creating an equitable, accessible and inclusive environment where all students can thrive and belong. If you require an adjustment to take part in our events, please contact us at business.student-comms@sydney.edu.au.
